Filipino Pilgrims Hoping to be Invited by King Salman as Guests #PinoyBlogWatch
Last time, they did not complete the Haj rituals because of this accident happened; hoping that their requests through the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah in 2011 will be granted by King Salman. The pilgrims blamed the reckless driver who was using a mobile phone while driving at high speed. He was shouting at the caller at the other end when the bus met with the accident.
Because of the accident, some of the pilgrims were hospitalized and amputated. One of the pilgrims approached the Arab News to tell her story in the hope that the king will include her and her fellow pilgrims to fulfill their Haj this year on humanitarian grounds.
Personally, I am hoping that their requests be heard by King Salman. Hopefully too, they could complete the Haj rituals to finalize the vows for Allah. Likewise, this kind of accident can be avoided by careful and responsible driving. Altogether, sometimes, we could think some other ways to be on the safe side always. As matter of fact, driver nowadays could not deliberately work for their inner thoughts when driving. They must be in proper mindset before departing and even while driving.
