Ello Ed Mundsel Bello, a Filipino nurse in Singapore who made derogatory
remarks about Singaporeans on Facebook pleaded guilty to three charges. One count
as Sedition Act for publicizing hatred and hostility and two counts of giving
false information to the police.
In his Facebook post, Bello called Singaporeans "loosers (sic) in
their own country". "We take their jobs, their future, their women,
and soon, we will evict all SG loosers out of their own country", Bello
added, saying that Singapore would be the "new Filipino state".
The Filipino also stated that he would be "praying that disasters
(sic) strike Singapore and more Singaporeans will die". He will
"celebrate" if this happens, he said.
He ended his Facebook post with the declaration: "REMEMBER PINOY
BETTER AND STRONGER THAN STINKAPOREANS."
Ello Bello had balls to post on his FB account the derogatory remarks
about Singaporeans. He did not think hundred times for the consequences of his
action, maybe of hatred or truly a Filipino pride?
We
don’t know the exact motive of this Filipino guy but for sure he knew
beforehand about Singapore. Or, his bad experienced triggered him to post on
his FB page?

what happened to this Filipino guy would be lesson to all Facebook users around
the world and, to think that the social media is just our way to learn and have
some information with our daily lives. It’s a matter of understanding the
internet and its usage. Be very careful and use it in a very nice way.
