The netizens criticizes Pres. Aquino after he didn’t attend to the arrival honor of 44 brave members of PNP-SAF who died in Mamasapano clash. They posted on their social media account their sentiments regarding this issue with a hastag #NasaanAngPangulo?
The netizens said that what kind of
president he is? He is the commander in chief of AFP and PNP, but he didn’t
even go to arrival honors to glimpse the remains of the 44 PNP-SAF? Then, they
just find out that the President was
attended to the innagauration of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines in Laguna rather
than to give sympathy to the grieving families of the soldiers who lost their
lives.
Deputy Presidential Spokesperson
Abigail Valte explained why Pres. Aquino was absent to the arrival honors. He
was not there because he was not scheduled to be at the Villamor Air Base. The
president attended to the necrological service at Bagong Diwa on Friday
morning, but he was arrived late.
Before this, P-Noy admitted that he
has knowledge that he knew the PNP-SAF operation in Mapasapano, Maguindanao.
PNP Gen. Espina pointed out that the suspended PNP Chief Alan Purisima who
ordered to PNP-SAF to make operation in that area to persecute the two members
of Jamea Islamiya. Gen. Espina said that Purisima made this to beautify his
image; he has been suspended because he was involved in corruption.
Despite of the angst of the Filipino
people due to the battle in Mamasapano, the government still believes that the
peace negotiation between the government and MILF should be pushed. That’s why
the government will not send troups to attack the MILF camp in Mamasapano. But
as of now, the peace talked has been postponed until they doesn’t sesolve the
conflict caused by Mamasapano incidents who considered by many people as
Maguindanao Massacre part 2.
