Ynares Center in Antipolo City is very popular because many people going here. The stadium was named after the former Rizal Governor Ito Ynares. As of now, his wife Nini Ynares serves as Rizal Governor while their son Junjun Ynares is a currently Antipolo City Mayor.
Ynares Center is not big as the Big Dome or Smart Araneta Center but you will also enjoy its wide space. It has also a unique design. Many activities are conducting here like sport events. Sometimes, you can watch here PBA games and even concerts of popular singers. It seems that Ynares Center became a part of popular culture in our country. Even religious activities are also doing here. As other stadiums, any group are welcome here to do their events as long as they comply the management rules and requirements.
When the Christmas is coming, Ynares Center will become a family and group hangout. Because it becomes an attraction to the public; they set up tiangge and carnival here. That’s why it’s so fun to be here during that season. Aside from that, they also offer some snacks and different kind of foods.
You can find at the Ynares compound the Rizal Provincial Government Building. It seems that their building was inspired by Roman architectural design. So, if you have transaction with them just come here and their employees will assist you.
Outside Ynares Center you will a park where religious statues are displayed. There’s a couple kneeling infront of Virgin Mary. There’s also a reflica of a fraile posing like a Gentleman dance of Psy. And there’s a woman lying in a cradle. These statues are already old because their color are already faded and the hands of other statues is already wrecked. But for me it doesn’t affect its beauty for every statue had history.
By the way, if you’re way is from Antipolo Cathedral just straight ahead and you will reach Ynares Center. Before that you should impassable the Ninoy Aquino Park and the Antipolo Public Library headed by Kiwanis Club.
