A small town kid with big ambitions, this is what best describes 17-year old Ronaldo “Nald” Dapena who is one of the members of the Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association (CAVRAA) football team. He came from San Antonio, Delfin Albano, Isabela, which is considered as one of the poorest barrios in the area.                   Once again, the Filipino people are rejoicing because Manny Pacquiao brings another national pride for the Philippines. He won by unanimous decision over Chris Algieri during their Hungry for Glory fight at Cotai Arena in Macau on November 23.  They really admired Manny because his vigor was still there. He has proven that despite of his age which is 3, he can still give a good fight. His opponent was younger and taller than him but he defeated it. Maybe his experience has a great advantage that’s why he won in this battle.

              There’s a news that Floyd Mayweather Jr. agreed to fight Manny Pacquiao. This was told by the Top Rank promoter Bob Arum after they succesfully negotiated to the camp of Mayweather. Like in the previous negotiation, Mayweather has another request , but Bob Arum don’t want it to reveal. This so much awaiting fight will be happening on the first quarter of 1 st  of 2015.

                Manny Pacquiao has many things to do aside from boxing. He was already entered in showbiz and politics world and now he has a plan to enter in PBA. He is very confident with his decision. He said that he is using basketball to condition his body every time when he has trained in boxing. The KIA Motors company has a plan to form their own basketball team and according to Pacquaio he may serve as a couch for their team. Basketball is not new for him; this is one of his favorite hobbies. The public always see him on TV playing basketball.
